On 31st July 2025, Ailis and Matty tied the knot at the breathtaking St Audrie’s Park in West Quantoxhead, Somerset. Surrounded by 65 of their closest family and friends, their wedding day was filled with elegance, romance, and unforgettable laughter. From the moment Ailis shared an emotional first look with her dad to the joy of their evening party, the entire day radiated love.
As a Somerset wedding videographer, I had the privilege of capturing their story in this historic setting. St Audrie’s Park is always a dream backdrop, with its grand Orangery, sweeping lawns, and stunning coastal views. This wedding made the most of every detail.
Morning Moments at St Audrie’s Park

Both Ailis and Matty got ready within the grounds of St Audrie’s Park, allowing the morning to feel relaxed and unhurried. The excitement built steadily, especially when Ailis revealed her dress to her dad in a heartfelt first look that set the tone for the day. Her gown from Wed2b was timeless and elegant, perfectly complemented by the florals from Hidden Botanics.
A Ceremony of Emotion and Beauty at St Audrie’s Park

The couple exchanged vows in the Orangery at St Audrie’s Park, a venue renowned for its natural light and graceful charm. The atmosphere was intimate and deeply personal, with touching words from the bride’s father, David, and groom Matty himself. Guests were visibly moved, making it a ceremony to remember for years to come.
Portraits in Somerset’s Golden Hour

Later in the day, we wandered the grounds for couple portraits, bathed in golden evening light. Against Somerset’s rolling hills and the park’s coastal backdrop, the pair shared quiet moments of laughter and romance. As a Somerset wedding videographer, these golden-hour shots are always favourites, capturing the magic of a day transitioning into night.
A Reception Filled with Joy

With heartfelt speeches from Matty, David, and best man Alex, the reception was full of laughter, stories, and a few happy tears. Guests then filled the dance floor as the DJs set the tone for a lively evening. At 8pm, Ailis and Matty shared their first dance under the chandeliers. This moment that sparkled with intimacy and celebration, before the party took full swing.
