After a less-than-ideal first date—abandoning a lacklustre film midway – the pieces fell into place, forming a bond that would withstand two decades.

Fourteen years ago, in his bedroom, Shane got down on one knee with a spontaneous gesture of a proposal. Though lacking in traditional romance, it held a profound significance – a testament to the authenticity of their journey.
