Weddings at Humber Barn are always full of charm, but Jasmine and Joe’s day was something truly special. Surrounded by rolling countryside in Devon, they celebrated their love story with a rustic elegant theme that blended timeless style with heartfelt family moments. As a Somerset wedding videographer, capturing their day meant filming laughter, tears, and golden hour magic in one of the region’s most beautiful settings.
A Love Story Leading to Humber Barn

Jasmine and Joe’s journey began in 2014 with a swipe on Tinder that quickly turned into a lifelong connection. Their first date at Angels Tea Rooms in Babbacombe set the tone for years of love, laughter, and adventures. Later, in May 2022, Joe proposed in Stover, a place special to their family walks. With their daughter by their side, he popped the question in the most heartfelt way.
Fast forward to 26 July 2025, and their vision of rustic elegance came to life at Humber Barn. With rolling countryside views and a warm, relaxed atmosphere, the venue was the perfect fit for their family-focused celebration.
Rustic Elegance Shines at Humber Barn

The couple chose a timeless palette of whites, greens, and beige, blending Jasmine’s love of classic elegance with Joe’s rustic style. Bridesmaids wore olive green, groomsmen wore beige, and their children, Margot and Isaac, played sweet roles as flower girl and page boy.
The day began with heartfelt first looks for both Jasmine and Joe, creating emotional moments before the ceremony. Surrounded by 90 guests in the day and 40 more in the evening, they exchanged vows inside Humber Barn, followed by confetti and joyful celebrations.
Heartfelt Speeches and Golden Hour Magic

As the day unfolded, speeches from Jasmine’s father John, Joe, and best man Matt filled the barn with both tears and laughter. The couple’s first dance at 7:30pm set the tone for a lively evening filled with music, sparklers, and lawn games.
One of the most touching highlights came as Jasmine and Joe walked back down the aisle together, showered in confetti, finally sharing the same surname with their children. Another standout moment was seeing their little family of four dancing together, a memory that will surely make them smile for decades to come.
A Perfect Celebration in Devon

Humber Barn is more than a venue. Its rustic beams, countryside charm, and views of the moors made Jasmine and Joe’s day unforgettable. As a wedding videographer, it was a joy to capture every detail of their rustic elegant celebration. From candid moments with guests to golden hour portraits in the fields, the day felt timeless and deeply personal.
